Discover the Secrets of the Advance Masonic Temple: Open House New York 2025

Step inside one of Astoria’s most mysterious landmarks. Join us for guided tours of the historic Advance Masonic Temple during Open House New York on Sunday, October 19.

Full Details (event body):

For more than 100 years, Advance Service Mizpah Lodge No. 586 has called the Advance Masonic Temple home: a striking Beaux-Arts landmark in the heart of Astoria. On October 19, we’re opening our doors as partners in Open House New York 2025, alongside the Greater Astoria Historical Society, to give the public a rare glimpse inside this hidden Queens treasure.

Explore the lodge rooms, ceremonial halls, and architectural details that have witnessed generations of local history. Along the way, learn how Freemasons in Queens have supported neighborhood traditions, civic programs, and community service since the early 20th century.
