The stained glass windows at the front of Advance Masonic Temple form an important part of the lodge’s visual identity. More than decorative features, they reflect key themes in Masonic tradition through color, symbolism, and historic character. Together, they create a meaningful introduction to the lodge and the teachings it represents.
A Paired Symbolic Design
Positioned at the front of the temple, the two windows are designed to be understood both individually and as a pair. The window on the left depicts King Solomon, long associated with wisdom, order, and the building of the Temple. The window on the right depicts Hiram Abiff, honored in Masonic tradition as the master craftsman and a model of fidelity, skill, and moral steadfastness.
Seen together, these figures represent central ideas in Masonic symbolism: wisdom joined with labor, leadership joined with craftsmanship, and vision joined with faithful service.
