Welcoming Harmony-Pilgrim Assembly #6 to Advance Masonic Temple

Building the Future: Welcoming Harmony-Pilgrim Assembly #6 to Advance Masonic Temple!

A message from W.M. Antonio “Pon” DeCaro of Advance Lodge no. 586

Brethren All,

It is with great enthusiasm that we share exciting news about one of the outstanding youth organizations in our Masonic family. Harmony-Pilgrim Assembly No. 6, Order of the Rainbow for Girls, will be relocating to the Advance Masonic Temple in Astoria, Queens this coming September.

This new home marks a meaningful step forward for the Assembly as they continue their important work of developing young women of character, confidence, leadership, and service.

Harmony-Pilgrim Assembly No. 6 is part of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, a Masonic-sponsored organization founded in 1922. Rainbow helps girls ages 10 to 21 build friendships, develop leadership skills, and serve their communities in a welcoming and service-centered environment.

Rainbow for Girls in Astoria Queens

A Proud New York Legacy

Harmony-Pilgrim Assembly No. 6 carries a proud and distinguished legacy within New York Rainbow. Formed by the 1965 merger of Harmony No. 12 and Pilgrim No. 6, the Assembly continues under Pilgrim No. 6’s original 1928 charter.

As a result, it stands as the oldest continuously meeting assembly in New York, never having gone dark. Over the decades, and through meetings held in both Brooklyn and Queens, the Assembly has produced 12 Grand Worthy Advisors, the highest office a member can attain.

That legacy continues today through members such as Lucy, pictured wearing a New York sash, who has represented New York Rainbow beyond the state level and currently serves as Grand Representative to New Jersey and South Carolina.

Many Rainbow Girls are daughters, granddaughters, nieces, and neighbors of Masons. Rainbow is one of the clearest ways we can invest in the next generation of leaders who understand - and live - the values we hold as Freemasons.

Join Us for an Ice Cream Social

To help welcome Harmony-Pilgrim Assembly No. 6 to their new home, all Brethren, their families, and friends are warmly invited to attend an Ice Cream Social this June at Advance Masonic Temple.

This will be a casual and uplifting opportunity to meet the young women of the Assembly, learn about their service projects, and show them the warm welcome they deserve.
