Join us for a special celebration of history, brotherhood, and heritage at the 2025 Grand Master’s Day Family Picnic!
Hosted by MW Steven Adam Rubin, Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York, this cherished annual event invites our Masonic family to honor the legacy of New York Freemasonry while enjoying delicious food, wonderful company, and the beauty of one of America’s most historic sites.
Experience the atmosphere of DeWint House, built in 1700 and famously serving as General George Washington’s headquarters during four pivotal moments in the American Revolution. Here, Washington signed the death warrant of British spy Major John André and later negotiated the British withdrawal from New York City.
Today, this site stands as a Masonic memorial, maintained and cherished by the Grand Lodge of New York as a living connection between fraternity and nationhood.
Come walk the same grounds where Bro. Washington once stood, gather with Brothers and families from across the state, and celebrate the timeless spirit of unity and light that defines our Craft.
Highlights:
• A family-friendly Masonic picnic on historic grounds
• Guided talks about the DeWint House and its Revolutionary War significance
• Food, drink, and fellowship under the autumn sky
• Celebration of New York’s Masonic heritage
