Advance Service Mizpah Lodge 586: Making a Difference with Our Annual School Supply Drive

As featured in the Winter 2023 issue of The Empire State Mason (page 28), Advance Service Mizpah Lodge 586 of the Queens District was spotlighted for the success of our 2nd Annual School Supply Drive.

This initiative, organized by Worshipful Master Antonio “Pon” DeCaro and his dedicated family, brought together the spirit of our Lodge and the wider community to support local students at P.S. 2Q elementary school in Astoria.

Thanks to the generosity of our members and friends, we collected approximately $1,500 worth of essential school supplies. These items were delivered to P.S. 2Q just in time for the start of the school year, ensuring that students had the tools they needed to succeed in their studies. Our hope is that these supplies will not only empower students to reach their full potential but also help ease some worry and financial burden of their families.

Heartfelt Thanks from the Worshipful Master

W.M. Pon DeCaro expressed his gratitude in a letter to the Brothers of the District, saying:
